Learning French nouns with articles
Note:
1.French nouns are almost always preceded by articles. In English for example you say France,
but in French you say la France (lah frahNs = France).
The same convention applies to plural nouns.For example mountains in English becomes les montagnes
(ley mohN-tah-nyuh= mountains)
2.Unlike English, the French articles mark the gender and number of nouns.
3.When you learn a noun, try to learn the article that goes with it.
